City of Ballarat lists Black Hill Reserve as home to the Black Hill lookout, with views south across Ballarat and the surrounding district. The reserve is also a mountain bike hub with six cross-country trails, four downhill trails, two pump tracks, a skills area and an advanced jump park, making it useful for riders and short scenic stops.
