City of Ballarat says two competition-standard Netball Victoria-compliant acrylic courts and a new electronic LED scoreboard opened at Buninyong Recreation Reserve in April 2026. The completed works replaced the former single court and added 200-lux LED sports lighting for evening training and competition, fencing around the court precinct, concrete paths, stairs, accessible ramp connections, DDA-compliant parking, player shelters and storage. The scoreboard also supports football and cricket users, and the reserve remains a local home for Buninyong Football Netball Club and cricket activity. City open-data records identify the reserve on Forest Street with football/cricket, netball and cricket-net facilities.
