The City of Ballarat Data Exchange reserves record lists Canadian Creek Reserve as an OS-Regional open-space reserve with a major linkage function, council management and an area of 303,226 square metres. The official record places the reserve opposite 2-4 Hermitage Avenue in Mount Clear, with the mapped point at -37.5894865765, 143.870032703. It is useful because it adds a substantial south-east creek-corridor reserve to the Ballarat places set, rather than another small playground or duplicate sports subfacility.
