City of Ballarat describes Miners Rest Mechanics Institute Community Hall as a City-owned facility on Burrumbeet Bulag country, used for community activities, meetings, weddings, parties, fundraisers and markets. The venue has a large main hall with stage and audio-visual capability, a separate meeting room, heating and cooling throughout, tables and chairs for 100 people, a kitchen with fridge, microwave, urn, domestic stove, pie warmer, industrial dishwasher, crockery and cutlery, plus fully accessible male and female toilets. Venue inspections are by appointment.
