Pleasant Street Reserve

City of Ballarat says the upgraded Pleasant Street Reserve soccer facilities are now open after resurfacing two pitches and the club training area, improving drainage and irrigation, installing new fencing, grass turf and coaches boxes, and adding earlier lighting and changeroom works. The reserve is home to Ballarat Soccer Club, which the City describes as having more than 300 registered players and 25 teams, and the page notes the venue can host other users during the soccer off-season. It adds a practical central community-sport option beyond the larger regional soccer and stadium records.
