City of Greater Bendigo says Bendigo Art Gallery at 42 View Street is closed for a major building redevelopment and is expected to reopen in early 2028, while its creative program continues across Bendigo. Keep it as a major Bendigo arts anchor because of its regional gallery role and View Street precinct setting, but do not treat the main building as a normal walk-in gallery stop during the closure; check the gallery source for current offsite exhibitions, ticketing and programs.
