The City of Greater Bendigo lists Gateway Park Function Centre on High Street, Kangaroo Flat, set within Gateway Park and home to the Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat. The official hall page describes a venue available for hire with marked off-street parking, wide doors, accessible bathrooms, well-lit rooms, a well-equipped community kitchen, included tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery and tableware, an outdoor BBQ area, polished hardwood main-hall floor and carpeted side spaces. It seats up to 80 people and requires public liability insurance because the facility is on Crown Land. This adds a practical indoor Kangaroo Flat community-hire option distinct from the existing outdoor Gateway Park record.
