City of Greater Bendigo lists The Capital at 50 View Street, Bendigo. The current venue page says it hosts more than 200 performances and exhibitions each year, opens 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday and one hour before scheduled performances, and occupies the former Sandhurst Masonic Hall built in 1873. It also notes the restored heritage interior, a 480-seat Capital Theatre, the Banquet Room and Bendigo Bank Theatre, making it a practical central arts-night anchor beside the gallery and Rosalind Park.
