Eastern Beach Reserve

The current council reserve page confirms picnic facilities, playgrounds, a shark-proof sea bath, children's pool and the historic boardwalk around the bathing area. Listed facilities include BBQs, public toilets, walking paths and dogs-on-leash rules. Life Saving Victoria supervision is listed for 1 November to 21 December from noon to 5pm, 22 December to 28 February from 10am to 7pm, and 1 March to 19 April from noon to 5pm. The children's pool is open unsupervised from 20 April to 31 October, the diving tower is closed during that same period, and the page warns that maintenance or chemical dosing can close the pool at short notice.
