Hopkins River Accessible Boat Hoist

Warrnambool City Council lists a public access hoist at the Hopkins River jetty off Simpson Street, next to E. J. King Park. The official page says the hoist is free for approved users who have completed a safety induction, and it is for transferring people in and out of boats rather than lifting wheelchairs. Use it only as a planned daylight boating-access facility: visitors need basic water safety skills, a personal flotation device, weather and tide checks, and council approval before relying on the hoist.
