Logans Beach Whale Viewing Platform
A free coastal viewing platform best known for winter southern right whale watching, with sightings never guaranteed.
Details
Warrnambool's official tourism site recommends the Logans Beach platform for southern right whale watching, usually between June and September. The platform is free, open at all times, and reached by a ramp, but the nearest public toilets are around one kilometre away at the Hopkins River. Check the official sightings update before travelling and treat any wildlife view as weather- and animal-dependent.
