Swan Reserve

Warrnambool City Council places Swan Reserve at Kepler Street and Spence Street and describes a native garden begun by local Australian Plants Society members, later rejuvenated by the Friends of Swan Reserve. The reserve includes banksia plantings, rare and endangered species beds, feature trees, a playground, an indigenous marrung gathering place, decorated message poles, and biodiversity garden beds with food and habitat plants. It is best treated as a quiet garden, play, and short-walk stop rather than a destination with staffed facilities; confirm weather and any council works before planning a group visit.
